Applicants who are concerned about meeting application requirements should address their concerns and any extenuating circumstances in their letter of intent.

If an applicant does not have a 3.0 grade point average (G.P.A.), the admissions committee will consider other aspects of the applicant. Applicants may provide documents describing work experience and references, etc. for further evaluation. The committee may grant provisional acceptance for candidates who are strong in most areas, but missing one of the requirements, such as a G.P.A. below the cutoff.

Note: Provisional acceptance often carries a restriction, such as taking one class per semester for a designated period of time. Students accepted on a provisional basis do not qualify for federal financial aid.

Students may consider applying to the Certificate in Global Health prior to beginning the Master of Science in Global health. Credits awarded through the Certificate program are transferable to the Master of Science program. Applying to the Master of Science in Global Health will require a separate application fee.
