Global Health Studies adjunct/clinical faculty have the opportunity to teach the global health leaders of tomorrow by helping lead Education Abroad programs. Faculty members can teach students in the following ways:
Adjunct clinical faculty status can be renewed every one to three years, depending on the appointment type and active program engagement.
The Global Health Studies Program at MSU offers immersive education abroad experiences that allow students to engage directly with diverse healthcare systems and cultures. Programs in countries like Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic and Mexico provide hands-on learning in clinical and community health settings, emphasizing cultural competence, public health challenges and the One Health approach.
