Biography

Dr. Andrea Freidus is the Associate Director of Global Health Studies and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family & Community Medicine within the MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine. As an applied scholar, her work is often collaborative, community-based and participatory. Dr. Freidus has over 15 years of experience researching the intersection of culture, health and disease. Her research explores varying domestic and international topics, including transnational responses to orphans
