Dominican Republic Pre-Clinical Information session on November 10, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.

Join Dr. Mary Kay Smith, program director, and Paige Rissman, Education Abroad Coordinator for Global Health Studies, to learn more about the Dominican Republic: Pre-Clinical Observation education abroad program. Offered during MSU's Spring Break (March 6-13, 2027), the program allows students an opportunity to observe various medical specialties in the Dominican Republic's Hospital General de la Plaza de Salud while learning about local approaches to healthcare from on-site experts. During this immersive session, students will learn more about program logistics, the application process, cost, and eligibility. There will be time reserved at the end for a Q&A.

Undergraduate students with an interest in medicine and global health are encouraged to attend.
