Join Program Director Dr. Travis Gordon and Global Health Studies Education Abroad Coordinator Paige Rissman to learn about the Pre-Clinical Observation education abroad program in Mérida, Mexico.
Receive information about program logistics, the application process, cost, and eligibility. There will also be time reserved at the end for a Q&A.
Offered during MSU's Spring Break (March 6-13, 2027), the program provides students with an opportunity to study traditional approaches to healthcare in Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula while completing clinical observations in specialties such as surgery, OB/GYN, and urology. Students will deepen their understanding of the Yucatan's history and culture through excursions to a Mayan archaeological site and naturally occurring cenotes swimming holes.
Undergraduate students with an interest in medicine and global health are encouraged to attend.
